How to Profit off a White Label SaaS using ChipBot in 2024

Creating a SaaS isn’t easy, so I made one for you.

My mission is to get a ChipBot on 20% of all active websites worldwide (40,580,144), but I can’t do it alone. So I created a white label version to help accelerate this goal.

I’ve already proven how to get thousands of websites using ChipBot today. This post shares how you can do the same.

ChipBot White Label is our premier SaaS solution for entrepreneurs, agencies, and resellers. We’re the leading all-in-one software that offers video, chat, and a knowledge base, built specifically only for websites.

Now it can be yours.

Our model is simple. You pay us a monthly fee for a ChipBot, and you are able to charge whatever you want to your customers. Here are a few models:

  • You pay for our Large Plan @ $7.96/mo per ChipBot, for 25 ChipBot instances. You charge $19 per ChipBot to your customers, making $11.94 profit per customer per month.
  • You pay for our Small Plan @ $16.33/mo per ChipBot, for 3 ChipBot instances. You charge your clients $399/year per ChipBot as an add-on fee for your website statement of work. You profit $609 per year, plus a passive retainer for each client. This makes it easier to upsell down the road without feeling invasive.
  • You pay for a custom plan for 100 ChipBot instances. You resell ChipBot under a premium brand and sell for $99/mo with a 85%+ profit margin.

This is just a taste of the combinations you can implement with complete freedom. But how do you get paid? There are a few models our current customers deploy:

  1. Use your own Stripe or Chargebee, or another payment processor to handle subscription payments. Send customers to a plan payment page. Use the redirect feature to route to your white labeled signup page.
  2. Handle payments through your existing invoice process.

Both methods will work, but option 1 is fully automated whereas option 2 requires some manual work.

I do recommend the automated way if you’re trying to manage the brand like a full SaaS business. Here’s the user journey example:

Step 1: First things first, you need to create a white label account.

This gets you in the door, grants you access to me and my team, and initiates the journey to a lucrative SaaS that you can own.

Step 2: Request your custom domain.

From your admin dashboard, go to the Branding Page. Then find the Domain Name section, and type in what your domain needs to be. This will kick off our internal processes to instantiate a new custom ChipBot dashboard. This takes approximately 3-5 business days.

I recommend having a subdomain from your main website. Something like this below:

  • Main Website: acme.co
  • Dashboard: app.acme.co

Step 3: Purchase your domain

If you haven’t already, you need to buy a domain. If you bought one through a website builder, you’re already one step ahead.

Step 4: Update your DNS

You need to add a CNAME record to the domain that you want to use for the dashboard. As an example, if you’re using app.acme.co as your dashboard link, the CNAME record you add would look like this:

CNAME support is free and comes standard with all plans.

If you need an A or AAAA record instead of a CNAME (usually for domains instead of subdomains) we offer this feature for an additional $9/mo to your plan.

Step 5: Customize your dashboard.

Use the different settings to add your logo and colors. Then scroll to the Company and Product Name section to completely replace the word “ChipBot” with anything you want.

Step 6: Update your thank page page.

If you’re setting up automated payments, you need to make sure the thank you page goes to your sign up page. Most companies call these redirects a “thank you page” or “success page”.

Your sign-up page will always be /signup on your custom domain. For example.

  • Main Website: acme.co
  • Dashboard: app.acme.co
  • Sign-up Page: app.acme.co/signup

These are the tutorials for each popular payment provider for setting up custom thank you pages.

Step 7: Create your website landing page.

Use WordPress, SquareSpace, Webflow, or whatever website builder you want. As a bonus, all paying members can get an additional ChipBot for their own website, without counting against their ChipBot limit.

You are free to copy whatever assets you want from our main website. Restrictions only apply if you use our logo or trademark (which would be counter-intuitive since you want to white label).

Step 8: Launch

Use social media, App Sumo, email newsletters, and local media to start a blitz campaign. This section is intentionally left with little detail. Before you even get to this step, my team will provide you with the playbooks on what makes money and what doesn’t. You will learn how we failed and where we succeeded. This includes channels, keywords, hashtags, and more!

Step 9: Get Training

As you use the system and get customers, you will need to learn:

  • How to manage users and domains
  • How to remove churned users
  • How to add notifications for signups
  • How to administer ChipBot
  • How to give support for ChipBot
  • How to position ChipBot for post-launch marketing
  • … and more!

We offer weekly guidance and one-on-one training for the first month for free. After the first month, we go on a month-to-month basis. We will also provide video tutorials as-needed.

Step 10: Post-launch tasks

Every white label company is unique. With different requirements and different deployments. Some need notifications for signups and others need HIPPA compliance. We’re here to help you navigate through the waters so post-launch tasks are here as a catch-all for additional requirements.
