Update #54 – Live Chat Inside Your Videos, AI Autocheck, and Conversion Tracking

It’s been a big few months. 🎉

The headline: your videos can now hold a conversation. There’s also a new way to see what your bot says before a customer does, a way for it to pull answers out of the software you already use, and finally a straight answer to “is any of this actually bringing in work?”

Here is everything new in Update #54.

Someone watching your video is the most interested they are ever going to be. Until now that moment ended with a couple of buttons and a hope that one of them was what they wanted.

Now your video can give up half its frame to a real conversation. The video keeps playing on top, and a live chat takes the space the buttons used to have. Your customer asks “do you service my area?” while they’re still watching, and gets an answer without going anywhere.

  • One switch to turn it on. Open a video and flip Replace buttons with live chat. The preview right beside it shows exactly what your visitors will see before you save.
  • Your pre-chat form still runs first, so you still get a name and an email before the conversation starts.
  • Answered by your AI if you have it switched on — or it comes straight to you as a normal chat if you don’t.
  • Portrait or landscape both work. The one exception is YouTube-hosted video, which can only render full width and has no room to give up.

The hardest part of letting AI answer for you is not knowing what it says when you’re not watching. So we built a page where you can watch.

Write out a conversation the way one of your customers would actually have it, hit run, and your real bot answers it in front of you. Every run is checked against five promises:

  • It always replies. Every message a customer sends gets an answer back.
  • It never repeats itself. No answer comes back word for word twice in a row.
  • It stays on unless a person turns it off. Only you or your customer ends the automated conversation.
  • Every link and button goes somewhere. No dead buttons, and no links the bot invented.
  • Replies arrive in under 20 seconds. Nobody waits long enough to give up and leave.

You’ll find it under Chat → AI Autocheck.

Your bot used to answer from your website and whatever you taught it. Now it can reach into the software you already run your business on and pull a live answer out of it — using your own account, set up per website, under AI → Tools.

The first one is live for real estate: the bot searches an agent’s own property listings and answers with swipeable cards — photo, price, address, beds and baths — plus a full photo gallery when someone taps “Tell me more.” No copying listings into your training data, and nothing goes stale.

Real estate is just the first. If there’s a system you’d want your bot pulling answers out of, reply and tell us what it is — that’s how we pick the next one.

Two new cards on your Engagement tab: Button Clicks and Conversions.

Every button a customer taps inside a chat is now counted — book a call, get a quote, see pricing — and conversions are the ones you’ve marked as the goal. Nothing was counting this before, so you can finally tell the difference between a chat widget that looks busy and one that’s actually booking work.

When a chat comes in, the email you get now leads with a suggested reply you can send as is, along with whether it looks like a real lead and how urgent it is.

Instead of scrolling back through a transcript at nine at night, you read a few lines and decide.

  • Sign in on your phone by scanning a QR code from your dashboard — handy when you’re out on a job and not at a desk.
  • Customers can start a conversation over themselves, so nobody gets stuck halfway down a path they didn’t mean to take.

Plus a long list of fixes across chat, video and training — the kind you’ll only notice because things stopped being annoying. 😌
