Update #33 – Enhancements & Bug Fixes

Are you using one ChipBot for your marketing website and another ChipBot for your admin portal? We enabled a new feature where the FAQs can be shared across ChipBot. This makes it easy to have one central location for FAQs. All shared folders will automatically update whenever a change happens from the original folder.

If you’re using our embeddable video grid feature. If you’re interested in showing all your videos within a section of your website, you can try out our “render video grid” API mentioned in our docs: https://getchipbot.com/api-docs

You can now replace the default header animations with your custom background. Perfect if you want to match the branding of your CihpBot with the rest of the website.

You can now fine-tune the position of ChipBot on your website using our new Position Settings page (Settings > Position). The power of this tool enables you to change the position of ChipBot based on the mobile layout of your web design.

Open Nexus (HTML)

You might want to hide ChipBot after the first open for specific scenarios. That rule is now added within the Visibility Rules section of ChipBot.

  • Increased file upload limit from 100 MB to 400 MB. The limit will eventually be increased to 1GB. (Pylons)
  • Fixed video preview from sometimes not showing a preview. (Pylons)
  • Improved search speed (Nexus)
  • Added missing icon buttons from links (Pylons)
  • Improved reliability of managing the main screen component organizer (Nexus)

Did you know you can use ChatGPT to help generate your FAQs? We’re experimenting with building this within Nexus, but you can get a jump start now. Use Jasper, CopyAI, or even the free version of ChatGPT to build out all your FAQs for you. You can then upload them to ChipBot, so your customers have a reference point on the FAQs you have.
